My Favorite Brow Product

~| 3 minute read |~

Now that I’m laid up in bed recovering from having my wisdom teeth extracted, I figured it’s as good a time as any to finally write a post that’s been on my docket for months! Let me introduce you to my favorite brow product.

Even before masks hid half our faces and beauty companies started marketing eyeshadows, mascaras, and brow products like their lives depend on it (because, at least for now, they kinda do) I’ve been a fan of rocking a strong brow.

My natural brows are in pretty good shape as I escaped the overplucking generation and I keep them neat and tidy without altering their shape to match temporary trends. (Side note, I highly recommend this approach as brow trends tend to be the most rapidly changing).

When I fill in my brows, I prefer a pencil. Pencils hit that sweet spot for me with speed of application and not needing an extra brush. I’ve tried several different brands and formulas, and this one is not only the cheapest but my favorite for the following reasons:

  • The formula is hard enough to achieve a precise application and soft enough to give quick color payoff.
  • The triangular-shaped tip lets you cover lots of space quickly.
  • The opposite end of the pencil includes a spoolie (which doesn’t break off).
  • The color selection doesn’t pull orange! Many a “medium brown” has turned orange in my brow and personally, I’m not a fan. I’m a natural dirty blonde and I prefer my brows to kinda match that tone. The grey and grey brown selections in this range work perfectly for me.
  • This pencil lasts for ages! Besides mascara, brow pencils tend to be the most frequently restocked in my collection. This product lasted so long I actually had to wash the spoolie as I still had 50% of the product left.
  • They’re only $5. I’m not against spending money on makeup and skincare, but when I can find a product this good for this price I am mighty pleased.

If I had a con for this product, it would be that the packaging is flimsy and the lids tend to get loose and/or crack. This isn’t a big deal to me, but I thought I’d mention it.

Here’s a link to the pencil on Amazon sold directly from the seller in case you’re interested.

*Not an ad, no affiliate link, no sponsored content. Just a product I genuinely like.*

If you try this product, do reach out to me and tell me how you liked it! I’ve not tried the light brown shade and wonder if it’s a good color for blondes lighter than me.

I hope you’re having a wonderful day and if you’re not already subscribed, you should subscribe! Here’s a link to make it easy for you. I’ll be sending out discounts and more event details later this week you won’t want to miss.

See you next time!
